Al-Shabaab militants beheaded a 75-year-old imam in Hudur on Monday
night (March 18th), a day after the militants took control of the town,
Somalia's Hiiraan Online reported. The militants dumped the beheaded
body of Sheikh Abdirahman Moalin Warsame in a hole near his home.
The militants reportedly arrested 10 people in Hurdur, including two
women. Al-Shabaab killed two civilians in the town on Monday, according
to Radio Mustaqbal. One of the victims, a woman, was allegedly working
for the government. Al-Shabaab regained control of Hudur, regional
capital of Somalia's Bakol region, after Somali and Ethiopian troops
retreated.
