Zamzam Ali Farah represented Team Somalia as the nations flag bearer during the opening ceremonies for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.
Zamzam is one of two Somali athletes taking part in the Olympic games; the other being Mohamed Hassan Mohamed.
Ms. Farah will be running the 800m and 1500m at London’s new Olympic stadium; while Mohammed will run the 1500m and 5000m.
