More than 50 people strutted their stuff on the runway Thursday night for the Living Rock's Creativity Through Diversity fashion show.
Thirty-seven youths and 16 local celebrity guests modeled fashions at Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School. The 10th annual event raised $600 for World Vision's relief efforts in Somalia.
“It's powerful when you see youth do something outside of themselves,” said Karen Craig, program director at the Living Rock, which is a resource centre for street-involved youth.
Models included about 10 members of the Steel City Patriots football team.
