Jowhar (HOL) – Hirshabelle regional President Ali Abdullahi
Hussein Guudlawe has made changes to several key positions within his Cabinet.
A presidential decree issued from his office on Monday,
based on Articles 56 and 57 of the Hirshabelle Constitution, grants the
President authority to appoint or replace members of the Cabinet when necessary
to improve performance and efficiency.
The reshuffle affects four key ministries: Labor and Social
Affairs, Energy and Water Resources, Information, Culture and Tourism, and
Finance and Economic Development.
The President appointed the following new officials:
- Bashi Abdi Mohamed as Minister of Labor and Social Affairs
- Saleh Mohamed Hassan as Minister of Energy and Water
Resources
- Abdikarim Nur Hassan (Doob-yare) as Minister of State for
Information, Culture and Tourism
- Omar Mohamed Soomane as Deputy Minister for Finance and
Economic Development
The changes are part of efforts to enhance the efficiency
and effectiveness of the Hirshabelle Cabinet, aimed at accelerating social
service delivery and strengthening governance.
