"Honoured to present my credentials to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. On this occasion, I expressed my deep appreciation to President Erdoğan for his steadfast support to Somalia,” the ambassador said.

The Somali government appointed Mohamed as its ambassador to Turkey last April, marking a significant step in enhancing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The appointment of Ambassador Mohamed was part of a broader diplomatic initiative by Somalia, with ten new ambassadors taking posts globally this year.
