Las Anod (HOL) - The leader of the SSC-Khatumo
administration, Abdikhadir Ahmed Aw-Ali Firdhiye, has warned Somaliland against
instigating another war in the Sool, Sanaag, and Ayn regions, stating that they
will defend their areas.
Speaking to the SSC-Khatumo community in Rome, Italy, on
Monday, Firdhiye emphasized that they will defeat the Somaliland army if an
attack is carried out in SSC areas.
Firdhiye added that the newly formed SSC administration is
now working to restore peace and stability in the SSC-Khatumo area and that all
Somaliland soldiers captured in the recent fighting will be brought to court.
Somaliland President Muse Bihi recently stated that
Somaliland will recapture the areas under SSC-Khatumo administration, and
reports indicate that Somaliland has deployed more troops to the frontlines.
