Mogadishu (HOL) - Somalia’s Lower House of Parliament has refuted reports that one of its staff members was involved in Friday’s al-Shabab attack on SYL hotel in Mogadishu, which killed at least three soldiers and wounded 27 others.Reports on social media suggest that one of the attackers was carrying the identity card of a parliament staff member to navigate streets and pass security checkpoints more easily. These reports added that the identity card belonged to Liban Mohamed Mohamud, whose job was a technician in the Somali Parliament.
