At least ten people killed in road accident in Somali region in Ethiopia

    Jigjiga (HOL) - At least ten people were killed in a road accident on the road between Jigjiga and Shabeeley district in the Faafan region of the Somali regional state in Ethiopia.

    According to local media reports, 12 others were injured in the accident, with some sustaining severe injuries.

    The collision, involving a Sinotruk and a passenger bus, led to the unfortunate incident. The deceased and injured were promptly transported to Sheikh Hassan Yabare Referral Hospital in Jigjiga town.

    Authorities in the Somali region described the accident as one of the worst in the area, highlighting the tragic nature of the incident.
