Mogadishu (HOL) - Somali Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre cut the ribbon on the newly reconstructed Taleh road in Mogadishu's Hodan district on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Barre emphasized the significance of constructing major roads, citing their role in promoting peace, trade, and overall development in the capital. He commended the Banadir Regional Administration for its unwavering commitment to enhancing the beauty and development of Mogadishu.
During his address, the Prime Minister urged the city's residents to take responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the roads. He also encouraged them to collaborate closely with the Banadir Regional Administration, which oversees the capital's road reconstruction efforts.
The Taleh road, which holds vital importance, was constructed under the "Build One Dollar in Your Country" program, which aims to involve the community in reconstructing Mogadishu.
