Two people killed in confrontation between rival forces in Jowhar town

    Jowhar (HOL) - A government soldier and a civilian were killed during a clash involving two rival groups in the Somali government forces in Jowhar, the interim administrative capital of Hirshabelle State, on Friday.

    According to eyewitnesses, the confrontation occurred between the military and the Danab commando forces due to an unidentified dispute. Police officers subsequently arrived at the scene, restoring calm.

    As of now, there has been no official comment on the incident from federal or regional officials.
