Mogadishu (HOL) - Banadir Regional Police Command in Mogadishu displayed a young man who allegedly stole a small child on Friday.
The police released a picture of the accused perpetrator but did not disclose his name, the identity of the stolen child, whether it was a boy or a girl, or the current whereabouts of the child.
According to a statement released by the Banadir Police Command, the Somali Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a man accused of child theft. The apprehension of the accused was successfully executed after receiving information about the case.
Lately, the police forces have intensified their operations in various districts of the Banadir region, frequently apprehending individuals accused of different crimes.
