Mogadishu (HOL) - Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre appointed Hamza Adan Hadow as the Permanent Secretary of the federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Saturday.
Hadow will replace Amb. Mohamed Ali Nur, who held this position since early 2020.
The move is the second major reshuffle this week following the sacking of Police Commander General Abdi Hassan Mohamed (Hijaar). Hijaar's dismissal was backed by Somalia's cabinet, who replaced him with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport, General Sulub Ahmed Firin.
