Mogadishu (HOL) – A Somali military court executed four former government soldiers from different army divisions on Thursday for killing other government soldiers.
The executed soldiers are named Bukhari Awil Mohamud- NISA; Ali Mohamud Hussein- Military; Abdirisaaq Ahmed Mukhtar, a policeman; and Mohamed Nur Sheikh Warre- a policeman.
The men were executed by firing squad at the General Kahiye Police Academy in Mogadishu on Thursday morning.
Many government soldiers are imprisoned in Mogadishu for crimes related to killing civilians and soldiers, and they are still awaiting sentences.
