Somali police arrest suspect in Nairobi murder case

    Mogadishu (HOL) - Somali police in Mogadishu have apprehended a fugitive, suspect Ahmed Abdirahman Abdullahi, accused of killing Mohamed Hassan in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi.

    The police reported on Sunday that the suspect was arrested after receiving information that he had escaped from Kenya and entered the country. The police have pledged to ensure he faces justice.

    In recent years, the country's courts have sentenced and executed people accused of murder, primarily by government forces.

    However, the country's police officials did not mention whether cooperation between the governments of Kenya and Somalia played a role in the suspect's arrest, despite the current positive relationship between the two governments.
