Roadside bomb kills three civilians near Dadaab refugee camps in Kenya

    Dadaab (HOL) – Three civilians were killed, and four others were wounded when a roadside bomb hit a vehicle they were travelling in on the outskirts of Dadaab refugee camps in Kenya on Friday.

    According to residents, a prominent traditional elder, Amin Hassan Samatar, his son, and another man were killed in the explosion that took place on the road connecting Dadaab and Garissa, just a few kilometres away from Dadaab. The injured people were taken to Dadaab Hospital.

    Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, al-Shabab militants usually carry out such attacks on border areas between Somalia and Kenya.
