TikTok star in critical condition after being ambushed by gunmen

    Mogadishu (HOL) - A popular TikTok content creator was shot by gunmen in Mogadishu on Wednesday while sitting in a restaurant.

    Bilal Bulshawi, a popular social media user who is sometimes referred to as "the President of TikTok", was shot three times while dining near the Banadajir junction. His friend was also wounded in the attack.

    Two gunmen fled the scene.

    He was rushed to Erdoğan Hospital, also known as the Digfer Hospital, in serious condition but doctors say he is expected to survive.

    No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
