Bur'ao (HOL) - A prominent traditional elder was killed in a road accident on the outskirts of Bur'ao town on Wednesday.

According to locals, Sultan Ahmed Hussein Burale's vehicle overturned while on his way to a reception for Sultans ahead of a meeting in Hargeisa organized by Somaliland clan leaders.Sultan Burale fell into a coma and died due to his severe injuries.
Sultan Daud Sultan Mohamed and other Sultans sent their condolences to the family and relatives of the late Sultan Burale.
