Somaliland: Gunmen kill a regional chair of UCID party

    Las Anod (HOL) - Mohamed Ahmed Farah (Aflahaar), the Somaliland opposition party UCID for Sool region chairman, was shot and killed after shooters ambushed him in Las Anod town on Monday night, residents said.

    The chairman, a former Las Anod district council member, was attacked as he entered his home.

    The assailants, who often carry out the attacks at night, immediately flee the scene, and police fail to apprehend them.
