Hirshabelle SEIT to hold elections for three seats in Jowhar

    Jowhar (HOL) The Hirshabelle State Electoral Implementation Team will hold the elections for three seats in the Lower House parliament on Saturday.

    HOP024, HOP106, and HOP140 are the seats up for today's election in Jowhar.

    Influential Somali politicians now hold the three seats: Abdikadir Arabow Ibrahim holds seat HOP024, Muna Hassan Mohamed has the seat HOP106 and Abdikadir Osoble Ali, one of Somalia's presidential candidates, holds the seat of HOP140.

    The state governments of Hirshabelle and Jubbaland are the only ones who have yet to conclude the Lower House elections.
