MOGADISHU (HOL) - Two women- Fadumo Hassan Ali and Amina Omar Jama are among three MPs who have since been elected in the ongoing voting for Somaliland MPs in Mogadishu.
Incumbent MP Amina Jama was unanimously elected by show of hands beating her rival Amina Osman Diriye who did not get a single vote.
newinsideA similar scenario played out in the victory of incumbent MP Fadumo Hassan Ali who was declared the winner by show of hands.
Former information minister and current MP Mohamed Hajir Mareeye was also re-elected by 96 votes beating his rival Abdirahman Warsame Said who received three votes only.
Voting continues for the remaining two seats.
