Umma University 4th Graduation Ceremony 2021

Ummah University

Six hundred and fifty-one students graduated from Umma University in Kajiado Kenya. Graduating students earned academic degrees in Sharia Law, economics, and computer science. Graduating students were awarded Masters, Bachelors, Diploma, and Certificate Degrees by the University Chancellor Dr.Abbas Gullet and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Idle Farah.

University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Idle delivered a well-articulated  speech. He congratulated graduating students and their families for the milestone they have accomplished in their life. During his speech, he made the following remarks. "hard work, discipline, and integrity will be your guiding light to prosperity and success both here with us and in the hereafter" class Dr. Idle also shared the university functions and latest developments with the audience.

Dr. Idle lauded the local and international partners of the University. He specifically thanked university sponsors who made possible the success of the Ummah University. Among those sponsors are Direct Aid International of Africa Muslim Agency, the Government of Kenya, Board of Trustees, University Council, and parents and students.

All speakers including University Chancellor Dr. Abbas Gullet, Council Vice-Chair Woman Dr. Halima Sadiq Abdullahi, Board of Trustees member Noordin Haji lauded the University's accomplishments and promised to work hard to further the university’s financial sustainability and the expansion of the university academically.

Over 2,600 students attend Ummah University in its different schools which are:  School of Business and Technology, School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Sharia and Islamic Studies, School of Education, and School of Postgraduate Studies.  

 Umma University is a Chartered University in Kenya accredited by the Commission for University Education (CUE). The University has two campuses; Thika and Kajiado. It was established to provide quality education to diverse students across Kenya. The University provides both online and in-person education to its students.
