Garowe (HOL) - A plane carrying the body of former Puntland President Mohamed Abdi Hashi has landed in Puntland capital of Garowe on Wednesday.
He died in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi on July 12.
Hashi will be buried in Garowe with officials from Puntland and other regional governments, as well as the federal government expected to attend his funeral.
Hashi was the Puntland Vice President under Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed from August 1998 to October 2004 and the interim President of Puntland from October 2004 to January 8, 2005.
