Mogadishu (HOL) - Acting Somali security minister Mohamed Abukar Islow Duale who attended a consultative meeting for the Mudullod clan in Mogadishu today spoke about the political crisis in Somalia.
Minister Islow called on the government to hold the election without delay.
"President Sheikh Sharif held the election on time, and so did President Hassan Sheikh. President Farmajo must follow that path," said Minister Mohamed Abukar Islow.
Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's term was extended from Sep 2016 to Feb 2017 to pave the way for elections.
Minister Islow is the acting security minister. He is one of the eight lawmakers opposed the motion to dismiss Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire.
