MOGADISHU (HOL) -Three people were killed separately in Mogadishu’s Waberi district Wednesday night under unclear circumstances.
Sources in the area told HOL the three men were gunned down in separate areas within the district by armed men who later fled.The militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack which comes amid targeted killings in the city using improvised explosive devices.
Police in Mogadishu did not commend on the incident. Police Commissioner General Abdi Hijar Wednesday made changes within the police force in Mogadishu naming new police commandants two months after he was appointed.
