Khalif Sheikh Abdullahi died at Madina Hospital following a brief bout with illness.

Abdullahi was elected from Southwest state has been battling undisclosed illness in recent days before he died.In a Twitter post, PM Kheire has mourned Sheikh Abdullahi who elected for the post in 2016 election.
"I condole with the family and relatives of Khalif Sheikh Abdullahi over his death, May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace, we pray that God comforts and strengthens the family and relatives," Mr. Kheire mourned.
The body of the MP is expected to be buried on Sunday morning.
The death of the MP comes just a day before the Lower House Parliament elect new speaker after Mohamed Osman Jawari stood down from office following a month-long political stand-off.
Eleven candidates will take part in Speaker's election which is slated for 30th April.
