Somalis celebrate 20th anniversary

The Somali Community Services of Seattle celebrates its 20th anniversary with a party filled with food, dance and fellowship.

Traditional pastries, rice, stews and bread were served, and art was auctioned off to raise money for the center.
Somali youth performed traditional song and dance, swathed in white garments, and community members gave speeches to show the impact Somali Community Services has had on their lives.
The event raised about $6,000, but more donations are needed
