One of three schoolgirls who went missing from their homes in London has been found safe and well.

Fardowsa Hassan, from Wood Green, was found by police at an address in Haringey in the north of the capital at 3am on Friday.

Scotland Yard said the 13-year-old had been missing for almost two weeks after disappearing on December 6.
Detectives are still searching for two sisters, Abir Salah, 16, and Ahlam Salah, 15, also from Wood Green. Abir was reported missing on December 6 and Ahlam on December 12.

Police believe the pair have not left the country and might be sleeping on buses or elsewhere on the transport network.

A Met Police spokesman said: "The girls have been reported missing before. The last time was on November 19, when they were missing for a week. They were found safe and well in the Wood Green area.

"Police are concerned for their well-being, due to the long period of time they've been missing.
"The girls' family are concerned for their welfare and urge them to contact them, or the police, to let them know they are safe and well."

Abir is described as black, of Somali descent, 5ft 10in and of medium build, and her sister Ahlam is also black and of Somali descent, 5ft 5in and of medium build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Haringey Missing Persons Unit on 101.
