There is a new King of the Darood clan, Burhan Muse has been inaugurated on Sunday as the Darood kingdoms 34th king. This momentous event took place in the prehistoric city of Gardo, of Puntland State of Somalia.

The event was well organized and was attended by over 500 people many of whom were influential politicians as well as clan elders from most of the regions in Somalia. The event seen old and current government politicans including former Somali Prime Ministers such as Ali Mohamed Gedi, and Abdirashid Ali Sharmake to name a few. The 34th inauguration of the Darood kingdom also seen representatives from Jubbaland, Federal government of Somalia, and Somali administrations from of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Yemen. Other dignitaries from all over the world were also present.

King Burhan Muse watched as speaker after speaker wished him much success in his new role as the 34th King of the Darood clan. One of the speakers was his excellence Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas president of Puntland.

President Gaas also went on to address condolences to the recent victims of the terror attack on the Somali Parliament building as well as the restaurant bombing in Djibouti.

King Burhan Muse took the stage and thanked Allah afterwards thanking the dignitaries from all over the world, for taking the time to come to the inauguration. He then went on to ask Allah for peace and stability in the Somali region.

President Abdiweli Gaas and his Puntland Government have recently showed great progress in reviving tradition and culture in the region. In the past the Puntland state house called for action to revive the deep culture and traditions of the regions in Puntland.
