The death toll from a car bomb attack in the south-western Somali city of Baidoa has risen to 14 after two people died from their injuries over night according to hospital sources.
Scores of people including civilians who were wounded in the attack were rushed to the city’s General hospital where due to lack of medicine and proper facilities the wounded people haven’t yet received the kind of medication they needed.
Meanwhile, Somali Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheik Ahmed said that his government sent an ambulance plane to fly nearly 20 people mainly civilians to Mogadishu for treatment.
Somali Government and the international community have similarly condemned Monday’s deadly attack in Baidoa which houses two controversial semiautonomous Somali regional states.
