Man wearing muslim woman robe nabbed in Kwale

Police in Msambweni Sub County in Kwale, are questioning the motive of a man who was wearing a Muslim woman robe (buibui).

At Kingwede Mr. Daudi Ali Bendera was beaten thoroughly by members of public though police came in time and whisked him from their wrath.

“He was seen at around 10.00 in the morning at Farmers Bar in a buibui and beaten by the public after the hotel raised an alarm. He was taken up by police who took him for medication and locked him up at Msambweni police station,” said the area OCPD Jack Ekakoro.

The OCPD said that the 23-year-old is now locked for questioning to establish his motive.

Among the issues that are to be asked he said are reasons for him doing so and his profile but nothing on terrorism or recent kidnappings as such will require a linking.
