HATE preacher Anjem Choudary was last night faced with shock claims he has links to White Widow Samantha Lewthwaite.
A new report reveals the radical cleric incites his army of
British fanatics to take up arms with Lewthwaite’s jihadists in Somalia.
And Lewthwaite – on the run after the Kenya mall massacre – supports Choudary, 46, by praising him online, it says.
Choudary
has sparked fury in Britain for burning poppies and urging Muslims to
milk Britain’s benefits system. Meanwhile, Lewthwaite, 29, spouts
extremism on a Twitter feed claiming links to terror groups al-Shabaab
and al-Qaida.
She tweeted: “When Anjem Choudary speaks, so-called ‘moderate Muslims’ start to sweat & tremble.”
Another
message said: “Anjem Choudary remains a noble & brave Muslim who
speaks his mind & fears Allah like a pious Muslim should do.”
Former BBC Panorama and ITV World In Action investigator Nick Lowles uncovered the links between the radical pair.
He
said: “Too many people dismiss Anjem Choudary as a clown but this
report reveals the true extent of his group’s links to terrorism at home
and abroad.”
