Kenya's media has scored highly in coverage of the electoral process in ensuring balanced coverage of all presidential candidates.

During the campaign period the media accompanied the candidates in all the regions of the country ensuring a balanced coverage.

Having organized the presidential debate media gave a chance to the voters to know the candidates and make an informed decision.

While giving his acceptance speech president elect Uhuru Kenyatta commended the media for credible and responsible reporting.
