Djibouti's ambassador to Somalia Dayib Doubad
Robleh met with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in Mogadishu
Sunday (June 23rd) to discuss progress of the African Union Mission in
Somalia (AMISOM) against al-Shabaab, the Djiboutian Information Agency
reported.
AMISOM Chief of Staff Brigadier General Osman Soubagleh was also present at the meeting.
Mohamud praised Djibouti's contribution to the AMISOM mission. The Djiboutian contingent of AMISOM provides security in Beledweyne and has recently begun training 500 Somali soldiers for the second time.
