Testimony in a federal court hearing has confirmed at least two more men traveled from Minnesota to East Africa this summer.

The evidence came out in a hearing in the government's investigation into the departures of more than 20 men who authorities say left Minnesota since 2007 to join al-Shabab in Somalia.

During Wednesday's hearing, an FBI agent testified that 19-year-old Mohamed Guled Osman and 20-year-old Omar Ali Farah left Minnesota on separate flights July 18. Documents show they traveled to Uganda, and did not return to America.

The AP has previously reported Farah's departure, with a family spokesman saying he joined al-Shabab.

FBI Supervisory Special Agent E.K. Wilson says both men are presumed to be in Somalia.

Wilson could not confirm whether additional men have left for Somalia recently.
