CAPE TOWN - Police have revealed that a Somali shop owner was shot and killed in Khayelitsha on Tuesday.
Three suspects reportedly entered his shop and demanded cash.
One of them then fired a shot at Abakar Abdular Arone, killing him.
The police's Frederick van Wyk says the man's brother was also wounded.
“One suspect shot at the shop owner and assaulted his brother. When police members arrived at the scene, the shop owner had already died due to the gun wound.”
