More than 50 people strutted their stuff on the runway Thursday night for the Living Rock's Creativity Through Diversity fashion show.

Thirty-seven youths and 16 local celebrity guests modeled fashions at Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School. The 10th annual event raised $600 for World Vision's relief efforts in Somalia.

“It's powerful when you see youth do something outside of themselves,” said Karen Craig, program director at the Living Rock, which is a resource centre for street-involved youth.

Models included about 10 members of the Steel City Patriots football team.

Hamilton photographer Larry Strung donated his services to photograph the fashion show models. Check out our Facebook photo gallery to see his work.
