A plane carrying the bodies of the seven Uganda air force officers who died in Sunday’s MI-24 helicopters crash has just landed at the Entebbe Air force base.
At the base to receive the bodies is the Chief of Defense Forces of Uganda, General Aronda Nyakairima, Deputy Chief of Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Ivan Koreta, the Minister of Defense, Crispus Kiyonga, and General Jeje Odongo, the deputy defense Minister.
Seven officers died after three Uganda air force MI-24 helicopters crashed on Sunday, the August 11, in Kenya en route to war-torn Somalia, while 24 survived.
