UGANDA should find no problems emerging from Group B of the Council of East and Central Africa (CECAFA) Senior Challenge Cup.

The draws for the annual event conducted in Dar es Salam, Tanzania Wednesday have pooled the Uganda Cranes together with lowly placed in the region Burundi, Zanzibar and Somalia.

Group A which has defending champions and the hosts Tanzania, emerging regional force Rwanda and Ethiopia presents itself as the group of death.

The competition starts on November 25 and the top two teams and the best two losers in each of the three pools will advance to the quarterfinal stage of the tournament.

Twelve teams drawn in groups A, B and C will compete in the 2012 Senior Challenge Cup for which Uganda is the most successful after winning it a record eleven times having won their last in 2009.

Fixtures for the tournament will be released later in week.

Uganda’s team at the LG Cup in Morocco will return to engage in the preparations to reclaim the region’s biggest competition.

Malawi, who last competed at the regional Cup as 1990s will compete as a guest team in group C together with Kenya, Sudan and Eritrea.
