UAE condemns suicide attack in Mogadishu

WAM Abu Dhabi, Aug 26th, 2010 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the suicide attack which targeted a hotel in the Somali capital Mogadishu, killing 33 people, including six members of the Somali Parliament.

Director of Information and Communication at the Foreign Ministry Sultan Al Ali asserted UAE's stance beside the Somali government and spelt out UAE's full solidarity with the Somali government in its quest for stability and offered support for efforts to achieve it.

The Foreign Ministry statement also expressed profound sorrow and condolences to the leadership and people of Somalia.
