May Allah blessings be with you today, tomorrow and always.In the past three years, Tawakal Express has been exceptionally busy and the following are our accomplishments thus far:
- 1- Establishment of Tawakal Express HQ in Garowe, Puntland, Somalia-
- 2- Established The only Somali Company to provide 24/7 Customers worldwide, where our support team consist of dedicated Somali tri-lingual educated men and women handle over 3,000 calls a day.
- Established dedicated Global Compliance Department that monitors LIVE transactions according Central Bank of Somalia- Based in our HQ-Garowe.
- Launched Tawakal’s Innovation Hub (THUB) in Garowe to serve Somali Talents in the area of digital marketing and FinTech for new ideas and creativities.
- Launched The first Somalia Financial Mobile Application (TPLUS) in 2017.
- Launched Direct MPESA delivery services were launched in 2016.
- Completed 5 years SOMBANK strategic plan with the help of one of the Best International financial consultant- Opening SOMBANK Ltd in July 2019
- Expanded our Global Agent network corridors by 40%, and we now serve over 80 Countries.
- Won multiple contacts for international relief money delivery for multiple organizations such UN entities and others for our dedicated Tawakal NGO Portal.
To continue our exceptional services, Tawakal Express is committed to investing in the next generation of software engineers. Early April, 2019, All our senior IT engineers have shifted to Garowe to train our junior bi-lingual entry level Engineers to handle our technical needs while our senior Engineers will be busy on developing new product and services for the company.
Tawakal Express is concerned about the impact of the drought on the Somali people. To that end, we are doing more to help those who are affected by the drought, working with our partners and customers to deliver millions of dollars CASH to those who need the most. We have facilitated the fastest and most secure method of delivery for these funds to reach people in need via Mobile Money or Cash in person.
Our company believes that finding resources necessary to meet the ever-increasing needs for our communities is the only way that we can achieve success for everyone that we serve. That is why we invest heavily in both technology and human resources to find solutions to these issues wherever possible.
