I went for my national service to El Afweyn
in 1975 and then to Erigavo. Therefore, I know
Sanag. I also follow up, know and feel sorry for
those regions that the International organisations
considered as disputed territory between
Puntland and Somaliland therefore, projects
were not implemented in those areas.

 Secular,

I lived in Sanaag for 10 years and cayn is in toogdheer and I can guarantee you that they’re not against Somaliland. I understand Sool is mostly Harti land and even they have mixed feelings about Somaliland. But it’s ok I’ll let you dream that Sanaag and Toogdheer is against Somaliland and will opt out. You people truly don’t know anything about Somaliland demographics .

 Appalled,
I agree with you that the final outcome could be inconclusive as usual, but the odds are,
nonetheless, against the Somaliland camp.
Case in point, Palestine is crying for statehood for over 60 plus years
and is still waiting. A two state solution is non starter if Sool, Sanaag & Cayn opt
for the union (or reunion if you like, though they never technically separated).
Aggrieved Deni & Co., your neighbors to the East, irrelevant though they might be in the big picture,
are, tribally, a local forces to be reckoned with!

 Amina,

Siste how can we be a country when you don’t know anything about Somaliland?  How can you claim that Toogdheer or Sana’a would be anti Somaliland hahaha? I understand soil, but Tooghdheer?  Don’t you know that the 90% of the SNM leaders were from Toghdheer and Sannaag?  Somaliland is a foreign country to you sister just Galmudug and Shabeele  Hoose is to me. So it would be best ito advise  these people to go separate ways since we don’t even know one another.

What happened in Somaliland in 1980s was
war crime and deserved the institution of
an International Criminal Court and the perpetrators
to pay for the crimes they committed. Nevertheless,
a two state solution is not an easy one given the
fact that the majority of the people in Sool,
parts of Sanag and Togdher want to be part and parcel of
Somalia. You could solve the problem of the remaining people
living in the rest of Somaliland who want to be part of
Somalia by referendum but Sanag and Togdheer will not be easy.

Somalis have many enemies a United Somalia is not only in the best
interest of the former British and Italian colonies
but also in the interest of the ethnic Somalis in
Djibouti, Kenya and Ethiopia. Allah blessed Somalia
with many privileges, religion, culture, natural resources
and strategic location.

Somalis need true reconciliation and in my opinion
must be organised by religious and traditional leaders rather
than politicians. When I say religious I mean those who are not
divided into groups similar to the political parties and some of them
indoctrinated our young people. I mean people
like Sheikh Mustafa, Sheikh Dirir, Sheikh Usuli.
Somalia needs to be rescued today we don't know what presidents
Farmajo and Bihi agreed with prime minister Abi Ahmed. We cannot
trust them with the future of our Country. Ethiopia and Kenya
are our neighbours but we cannot be part of Ethiopia or Kenya.

Our brothers in Somaliland came to us in 1960 without any condition
it is time our religious leaders, traditional leaders, intellectuals
from the South go to Hargeisa and negotiate properly not with
the politicians but with the religious, traditional leaders and
intellectuals in Somaliland. What we need from presidents Bihi and Farmajo
is to accommodate that dialogue and the International community to support.

 Appalled,

Actually, you are wrong on every count! Muse
Bixi's English speech was for fools like you,
who so easily get excited! Listen to his Af Soomali
speech here!

Haha Viva Muse Bihi. Jiq buu kaga dhigay walaweyntiii. These fools thought there was a possible union. I love how Somaliland toys with these guys every time. Somaliland merely shows up so they don’t look bad. But we know who you are and that you’re incapable to negotiate or keep your promises. Very proud of Muse’s two state solution righ tin the beginning

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THIS HEADLINE FROM NAIROBI!

It is practically over! The technical committees are
ironing out the outstanding issues! It is a matter of
time, no doubt about it, when Somalia unity will be
agreed on and declared!

Hargeisa will be the venue to declare peace and unity
of Somalia! Farmajo, regional leaders and the world
will land in Hargeisa within this years for celebration!
