They are tempered by laws on sedition, treachery, libel, taste and perhaps most importantly self-restraint. In Somaliland, Self-restraint is not part of the culture. Its greatest and best knwon national poentry anthology is caled "The Inflamer". A call for clan call to arms can be carried out within hours and can lead to mass murder and mayhem. And that girls is no poet- if there was a crime against poetry she would be sentenced to Life. So if someone calls for the destruction of the country and handing it over to its genocidaires who are chomping at bits to finish the job, what do you do with them? I think they should be hanged. But we are a tolerant race and culture too, in our own brutal, primitive way.
