rasimaal @ 6/28/2015 10:22 PM EST  MR Haji, thank you for taking the time to talk about these important topic most Somali writers prefer politics, but I would have preferred more about the bigger topic of Global warming and its effects on Somalia's grassland and its population. When a country experiences what Somalia went through last two decades people ignore such important sectors they only think about saving human lives and survival and we can't blame them for that it is basic human instinct to prioritize ,that's where warlords and terrorist take advantage of the forgotten. The port of kismayo have been shipping charcoal to Arabia and everyone was profiteering on this illegal trade including the Kenyan army, Ahmed madoobe and alsheytaan at expense of Somalia's forest they been burning trees which are important in stopping soil erosion. ALI Mahdi have been paid by big European companies in his time for them to drop nuclear waste on Somali seas yet nobody talks about all these factors have contributing been factor in Somalia's recent harsh droughts .
