I still won't visit Somalia. Maybe my children will see a prosper Somalia, a nation, a people's identity.
Somalia isn't a country , it is a dump site however.

Jubbaland and SW3 are political recognitions, although that can give them power it cannot give them legitimacy.

The clearest signal which made clan federal formation a laughing stock was when the Somali president said anointed Ahmed Madoobe as president of Jubbaland.

Those who were seeking to legitimise for these politically formed clan states must have been very surprised and dismayed.

The problem with the selection of MPs by Somali elders in 2012, was the lack of transparency, elders were brought to one place and asked to vote hidden from view rather than vote openly for who they want in their own districts and villages.

The main reason that happened was because Al-Shabaab occupied most territories in 2012 but it allowed for the whole process to be corrupted.

The biggest handicap of any system is a lack of transparency and proper due process unless that is addressed any system is going to fail.

Without reconciliation federalism is useless. The current SFG is not moving forward to implement it. They have slowed down the process almost to a stand still. Jubbaland was forced into creation as was the SW state in Baidoa. I say let there be an inclusive reconciliation before moving forward with this nonsense.
