Is this a marriage proposal or you want Gaas to keep doing , Faroole style, Somalilans's bidding by not fully recognizing Mogadishu?

Well done President Gaas and it is indeed vital you increase the representation of females in your cabinet and other structures. This is one area Somaliland democracy failed miserably despite the fact the most effective single politician since the reclamation of our independence was a woman: the indomitable Ms Edna Adam.

And congratulations to former President Faroole for accepting defeat with dignity and grace.

We in Somaliland genuinely wish you well. We increasingly see you as our strategic depth and firewall against both Somalia aggression and Al-Shabab terrorism. We also like to trade with a bit more and perhaps get a cut from the income of your 'coastguard services'. Joking. Please talk to Silanyo and sort out this silly dispute over the border thing. We will benefit enormously from co-operation than hostility.
