Actually, I support that all Somalis should feel empowerd - espcially people from (lower Hiiraan to Jubooyin - Gedo). They are the
real victims of the Somali civil war. The so-called Road Map for Somalia is neither fair and nor inclusive. After these communities are liberated from the Al-Shabaab, they should
be included in the peace process. Without them, there will be no legitimacy in the on-going peace process.
Marka waxa weeyaan in Somali wax wada qabsato - keli keli meel lagu gaari mayo. Qabyaaladana hala daayo - meesha ay na dhigtaa waanu aragnay. Balse, ceeb ma'ahan
in qoys walba uu gobolka ay dagaan hagaajiyo. Somalina sidaas bey horumar ku gaareysaa. Xiligii wax walba xamar loo doonan jiray masoo noqonayso. Waxaanu doonaynaa
dowlad demuquraati ah oo ku dhisan habka awood qeybsiga federaalka.
Maxaa yeelay - waanu soo aragnay dowlad awood badan sidii Siyaad Barre tisii oo saban unoqotay burburka wadanka. Marka, intaas wixii ka baxsan waxba kama soconayaa - xor baad utihiin figtatiina
balse, dhabtu waxa ay tahay waa sidaas.

 @bagdad bob,
First, Mogadishu is the capital for all Somalis. That is were I was born - and will be back soon.
Therefore, make sure you vacate my home buddy :)

both meles and his stooges are running out of cards! their naked attempt to subvert this latest round of peace efforts is becoming quite apparent to everyone...except diehard clanists

 mysomalia

agreed! that is what somalia is all about! why should we worry about what happens in those far flung regions and what they do? if they want to stay autonomous or independent etc they are very much welcomed! let them go....all they brought us is misery, wars and....yeey, aideed, siyad barre etc
    mudug22 @ 5/28/2012 12:47 AM EST
 @mysomali
Midkan caytamaya ee "mysomali" labaxay, waxaan leeyahay maxaa
Farole iyo Puntland lagaasiiyaa? Cayda haddaad joojiso Somali wax u qabo.
Ninkii maanta goboloka uu kayimid nabad iyo wax tar u sameeya ayaa wax ah.
Somaliduna waxa kaliya aanu ku midoobi karno waa dowlad cadaalad ah oo dimuqraadiya.
Marka, dhibta dhaafa cidna wax idiinma diidana - qolo idin quursataana majiraan. Somaali waa Soomaali.
Mar dhowna waanu wada barwaaqoobeynaa - Isha Allah.
    baghdad bob @ 5/28/2012 12:43 AM EST
I hope Turkey will partner with Uganda ad Burundi and increase areas under the control of Amisom and also assist in the reconstruction of the dilapidated infrastructure of muqadishu. All then muqadishu needs is functioning police stations and courts! now what happens in bossasso can actually stay in bossasso! and who will even care about that?

You can't have views on when a house is on fire and the firemen are on place trying to extinguish the fire. Its illogical and borders on the absurd to come with objections or engage in lengthy useless discussions. Since this is a lose federal system I believe the rest of somalia should move ahead particularly in the reconstruction of muqadishu. For the time being let us handle this autonomous regions like somaliland and let the rest of somalia continue with the pacification of somalia (any land on and below Hiiraan) The earlier we disengage these regions the better!
    mudug22 @ 5/28/2012 12:19 AM EST
I think these two guys have a right to express their view point. It is not a bad thing to disagree. It is actually called democracy to express your view point peacefully. While I don’t support their political views, Farole and Calin have legitimacy from the regions they represent. The fact is – if the rest of Somalis try to ignore these regions, NO Somali government will ever successfully function. Therefore, it is better that any peace process to be inclusive and transparent.
Also, there is no argument that we all Somalis are grateful for the humanitarian assistance from Turkey, but let us not also forget the United States and the European Union who have been there for the Somali people for a long time – longer than Turkey.
    mysomalia @ 5/27/2012 6:12 PM EST
This Faroole guy is curse to the somali people. Nothing
makes him happy. He thinks like he is the president of
somalia and now he has got a sidekick.

I agree with Bagdad bob. I think Shariif should ignore him since
Faroole means nothing to the rest of somalia. And if things go
out of hand, any region beyong HIIRAAN should be left alone since
all of them are trouble-makers. From HIIRAAN to JUBADA HOOSE are
the backbone of somalia and we dont need crazy northern to ruin our
live another 2 dacedes. I hope nobody talks to this vgly Faroole man.
He can keep his Mooryaan-land and pirate-infested BARI and the rest of
somalia will go forward. Iam s1ck and tired of seeing his bigmouth.
    sonofsomalia @ 5/27/2012 4:17 PM EST
 Agree Bob

Somalis now realize those traitors for what they are, Zanawis monkeys posing as leaders. Hope all the "P/Slanders" wake up.
    baghdad bob @ 5/27/2012 2:16 PM EST
its refreshing to see all somalis realizing the last cards of meles...
    baghdad bob @ 5/27/2012 2:14 PM EST
 hog oday

well said....their time is up and they are scared to the core of the coming government based on accountability and transparency. I believe in the initial stages its a blessing in disguise if these two regions unilaterally decide to disengage themselves. Their timing couldn't be better.....the position of premiership should immediately go the oppressed people of ogaden
    sonofsomalia @ 5/27/2012 2:11 PM EST
Interesting, we now have the Zanawi marching orders for his puppets. Faroole and his half brother were told to refuse, while the Sakiin was sent to negotiate on behalf of the Ethiopian Coalition. I hope true somalis realize the work of the EC. I am not talking to likes of Mahare, who are simply 3rd degree puppets. A once proud and powerful nation is now hostage to a 5 feet man and his mindless minions.
    Xog-Oday @ 5/27/2012 1:36 PM EST
First of all these two men should not have been chosen as stake holders. They’re obstacles to the peace process and the reason they do not want to participate in the Istanbul conference in Turkey is because they want to have an influence in the peace process. Either that or they are unknown agents and are representing another government that does not want Somalia to prosper.  They mentioned that they disagreed with selecting the Somali traditional elders to join them in the conference when in fact that was a fair and just choice. It is clear that these men only want someone whom they share a point of view with to be represented by. They also mentioned that they disapproved of Turkey’s decision to hold a meeting with the Somali civil Society without consulting the Somali stake holders. The democratic process is very important to the Somali Civil Society. These men have a very fascist mindset and side with dictatorship. The last men to show these political views and disagree with the right of freedom of speech were Joseph Stalin and Hitler, and we all know their lives turned out. The hidden reason for the withdrawal of the conference was to disintegrate Somalia into peace for their own well being. In conclusion Turkey is a genuine Islamic nation, and they are in search of Somali unity. Those who have the same interest for Somali should side them. Soomaali ya waxay  u geysteen nimankani  tacaddiyo waaweyn. Waxay doonayaan in ay dalka iyo dadkaba ku wiiqaan qabyaaladd la siyaasadeeyay. Waa in Soomaaliddu ka digtoonataa.

kkkkkkkkk, Puntland and Galmudug are gardian of United States Of Somalia. God bless them, without them, the country would have been sold without even noticing.

Baghdad bob
I was in Boosaaso just last month, and you are wrong about who partols there at night. It's aliens, not American Aliens with big heads and green collour, but black Aliens with big feet and three hands and daytime they fly back to space. Maybe Men in Black(Faroole and his guards) will come and save us from them. They talk funny though and they h4te people with heavy accents. Never try to go there!!!
BTW my capital city Garoe, so next time you are talking about capital cities of United States of Somalia, please make sure you specify which capital you are talking about. You mentioned dismembaring the country from Hiiraan upward, kkkkkkkkk, are kiding me? Who is going to lead the country then, by it self?
    baghdad bob @ 5/27/2012 12:52 PM EST
...it will be really a bright day for somalis if this too stick to their plan! I hope sheikh shariff ignores them and forges ahead with his plans of increasing amisom forces and soliciting more support from Turkey...amisom should move in into kismayu too before meles sends his forces there. Bossasso is already occupied by ethiopian soldiers, if you don't by now, night patrols in bossasso are conducted by ethiopian army. His aim is to create chaos in puntland and increase his term again by a couple of more years....
    baghdad bob @ 5/27/2012 12:46 PM EST
The capital city of somalia is muqadishu and it goes without saying...we need Turkey's support to rebuild the capital city, rebuild the somali army and put in place some semblance of infrastructure in the south where the bulk of the population of somalia resides. resources meant for those renegade regions should be concentrated in the south and muqadishu....a disengagement of all regions above and beyond Hiiraan should be encouraged....Turkey can lobby much more than ethiopia and I believe they should activate their contacts in NATO and in the US to put in place measures curbing the illegal activities of these spoilers....
    soolboy @ 5/27/2012 12:40 PM EST
Faroole point is well understood,he is man who like to get attention by opposing any peace process that don't give him greater benefits for his pirates. His upside down thinking mentality and his little fellow pirates are anti-peace, should be recognize as terrorists. Somalia can move forward without farole and his malitias.

Galmudug pointless, just been followers of evil Faroole. Galmudug the worsing thing about this press lease is sharing the same  page with Buntland and been second signature.

Galmudug please next time come with separate page.
    baghdad bob @ 5/27/2012 12:38 PM EST
we were just discussing yesterday about farole and the dangers facing somalia as a nation. This man is a replacement of yeey to frustrate somalis and their effort to pacify somalia. I hope the rest of somalia will continue and march forward, if they want to secede from the rest of somalia I strongly believe puntland and galmadug should be given that option. They are nothing but trouble anyway
