lol never thought I will see you defending kenyan occupation forces out of clanism. you might not be aware of it but you sound and talk like the defenders of ina yeey when he came with the amhara occupation forces. They were defeated and pushed out of somalia so will be kenya and you will come back to hiiraan with a different user name

 Caqli yaraw,

Is that all you can think of?  I do pity your  mind because it is extremely shallow.

Mdobe's men were absolutely nothing until they had a ride on top of kenyan tanks. its tragic that you are even entertaining the concept of tribal militia ruling a somali city. Why should they refer to Igad while we have a nationally elected president and MPs? if they want kenya to occupy and control them then let them stay in Garissa. In somalia, we have a government, an internationally recognized government with their MPs and the somali people will not allow kenya's dictation in our internal affairs. The government can and should dismiss regional governors and they should have no power to refer somali's internal affairs to Igad - an international body. luckily enough, kenya is a country governed by rules and there is already talk of discussion between the two presidents how to handle trivial issues like madobe and gang

 Baghdad bob aka ina faranji,

If you don’t have anything meaningful to say, don’t say at all you will only make fo*l of yourself.

You see, no one is saying that Ahmed Madoobe is an angel but no one can either deny that he led his men to fight against ev*l men of alshabaab to bring peace and stability in a dangerous territory and that is an achievement in the eyes of all free minded Somalis that reside the region with the exception of few opportunists who are neither there nor here.

The likes of fiqi cigaal were cursing ina yeey when he stormed muqadishu on top of ethiopian tanks and so here they are ululating like excited women on top of kenyan tanks. ras kamboni thugs are absolutely nothing, kismayu is captured and occupied by kenyan army and madobe his thugs were lurking in the forests stealing from unsuspecting women traders. kibaki the president of kenya has however hinted that he is willing to work directly with the president and the somali government since they have the power to ask for their ejection from the country through the UN.

We know what will happen to the locals of Kismayo
if Raskaboni Brigade leave tomorrow. The savage that
is called hawiye, will go and start
raping, murdering and looting just like they are
doing in Mogadishu and Marka. The Raskamboni men are
the only men who actually kept the peace in
Kismayo without hurting an innocent soul, hence,
why the locals support these men. P.s. Topguy, well
said brother.

If i came from these regions i would not have scream it everyday to let people know that i am from there.

The goverment has every right because there was absolutly no transpancy when this state was formed outside of somalia 2 years ago. Who were the reps from all the towns in jubba like Jamaam,Jilib,Saakow, Bardeer. Its was clearly a meeting to create a defacto state for the marahan in some parts of gedo, the ogadan in Afmadow and Majartan hirti in Kismayo. We have a parlimant for a reason these the legimate Reps from thes regions and towns and they should have the final say in what new states are formed. Especially an area like this where the borders the regions do not reflect clan demarcazation. Which creates the issue of staying close to clan and Lanugage. Majority of villages on the west bank of jubba speak Mai Mai and are from bantu clans and the east of jubba 100% Mai Mai Speaking with a mixture of Digil and Mirifle and other tribes mixed. So when someone is pushing so hard to create a state is because his intention is to claim the whole area for himself.

con...I think the government needs to change its approach to the situation and consult with those who fought against alshabaab and liberated the city and try to be part of the solution and act responsibly otherwise it will lose the trust and the respect of its own citizens and push them into the hands of Kenya and that should be avoided by all means.
    baghdad bob @ 11/17/2012 9:56 AM EST
Jubba does not belong to a single clan from kenya or ethiopia. Its a matter of time before the rest of the somali clans rise up. it seems they don't learn from the past, you can't transplant an alien clan to a region they don't come from with the thought its a soft spot. Ask habar gedir what happened to them in baidoa! its all a matter of time and I hope the government will stick to its guns and encourage the unionist clans to start defending themselves.
    baghdad bob @ 11/17/2012 9:52 AM EST
the creation of jubaland was in the plans for many years collaborating with people let alone coming from the region but are not even somali nationals. madobe is not a somali national, the man and his militia are from ethiopia. Many people before him tried such moves collaborating with the mortal enemies of somalia expecting full support from poor 3rd world countries which all eventually ended in failure.

fiqicigaal

You are finally out of the closet! I knew you are clanist to the core and that is why you are supporting the occupation of somalia by kenya with evil designs. That is why you tolerate ethiopian "advisors" in kismayu working with your ogadeni occupiers. but like habar gedir you will fail, you will flee and your evil designs will end in ignominy and you will get back to hiiraan with a different user name lol
    fiqicigaal @ 11/17/2012 6:36 AM EST
What is good for the goose is good for the gender.

I am in Kismayo and I have been into other parts of the country and what I witnessed in Jubooyinka is different than the sheer propaganda that is has been floating around since Kismayo was liberated from alshabaab thugs. I saw unity among those who reside the region(well the majority to be exact) and they agree to disagree so that they can compromise for the common interest which is peace , unity and development.

Now the people of Jubooyinka have the right to make their own decisions as stated in the constitution and they are willing to accept advice and guidance from the government, but they oppose any political intervention by any outside authority that is likely to undermine their rights and that is understandable. It is their wish and desires to form their regional administration like any other Somali region and that has to be respected.  The government has no means either legally or physically to dictate to those who (including every Somali in the vicinity) liberated their land at this time and time but it can aggravate the situation and meddle the water for personal gains  and we don’t want that to be the case. So we urge the government to see sense and to stop this mooryaan attitude of,  ‘If I can’t have it no one can’, those days are long gone.

Mohamed Abdi from facebook, you are making AS** out of yourself.
The article is written today(November, 17). You are confusing the picture caption with article date.
Look the lines after 'by-line'.
You are man blinded by clanish thinking that is why you cannot even see the bold date line.
What an idioot!!
