The poor guy couldn't even reshuffle minsters under him without the president going berserk.

The agreement you mentioned, was it between 2 men, or was it between FGS and the so called regional  administration of Puntland? The powerless guy, Abdiwelli, who was just removed from power, couldn't have signed a thing without the approval and consent of the president, isn't that right?

 Topclan,

I don't know and I don't care. I don't concern myself with Puntland or any other Habar Kuuley land. I only concern myself with the whole Somalia State. What happened, was done, to the State since 1991?

Your delusions cannot hide the facts!

Why are you not answering the question?

The government recognised the southern border of Puntland in the agreement between the two Abdiwellis but we still don't know its northern border.

What regions of the 18 regions under Barre regime is Puntland made up of?

For example, Jubbaland claims three regions of Lower and Middle Jubba and Gedo and SW3 claims three regions of Bay, Bakool and Lower Shabelle, both these states' borders are recognised but in Puntland's case only its southern border from northern Mudug upwards has been recognised.

 Yusuf Garaad,

I need your honest opinion, since you are a very opinionated former BBC guy. Do you think that your clansmen should apologize to all Somalis for the " Qarran Dumis," which was precipitated by their inability to safeguard Mogadishu form anarchy after they ejected the sitting government?

 Topclan,

Do you realize that we Somalis could have easily avoided all this mess you keep mentioning, had your kinsmen were capable to milk Mandeeq when its udders were swollen with the milk of governance?

 Dhug Dhukane,

Did you just comment on central Somalia affairs? Makeup your mind, dude! I thought you were here to only talk about your phantom, so called SomaliLand obsession! Does this mean you are starting to accept who you really are--a citizen of Somalia?

Border dispute creates tension and wars so don't tell me it's no big deal.

No has ever heard of a border dispute within a country.

Somalia is experimenting with an alien concept of federalism that no other country has.

The solution for Somalia is simply nothing more than given every clan its town and calling their leaders president and hope it all works out.

Somalia is the first nation who share one language, religion and ethnicity to have federalism and it looks like it will also be the first country to have a border dispute within its territory.

 TOPCLAN,
The actual borders of Puntland are well demarcated and correspond to the old Majeertenia region. BTW, Somalia does not have what resembles a constitution at the present. Let us all wait what Gurguurte comes up and I'm sure Ilka Xanaf (the Chief justice) will render it null and void.
    Dhugtame @ 12/31/2014 6:20 AM EST
People shouldn't put more wait on Puntland than it deserves, because it will soon be deserted even by the wild dogs. Let us just wait for the Central regions come up with functional administration, Hobiyo port rehabilitated, Mogadishu becomes peaceful again and Jubaland handed back to its rightful owners and then we will see Gaas' house being sold for $2.00 net.

What is the territory of Puntland, what regions/gobol does it comprise?

Somali constitution says no such thing. The constitution says only two gobol/regions or more from the 18 regions under Barre regime can form a federal state.

What is the territory of Puntland, what regions/gobol doesn't it comprise?

Since only regions/gobol and not towns or villages can join other regions, how can a region or even a district be allowed to be cut in half?

The Somali government, in the agreement between the two Abdiwellis, recognised Puntland border from northern Mudug up words, but it doesn't say anything about the border of northern Puntland.

At the moment, despite being called the first federal member state, Puntland is actually incomplete.

Until we know its territory for certain, I think it would be ridiculous to call Puntland a federal member state.

As for Central State, its made up of one and half regions/gobol which says we don't care about the constitution, we only care about finishing the federalism regardless if it creates problems.
