There is a stalemate because the PM clearly believes he is within his right while some MPs believe he is not.

If parliament says the PM wasn't within his right to name his current cabinet, they must write down some guidelines so that he can name a new cabinet which meets those guidelines.

The PM broke neither the constitution or even power-sharing agreement

Correcting an unintentional mistake is one thing but OPPOSING the new cabinet is unacceptable and if the MPs cannot see that we might as well call it a day.

There has to be a vote NOT to approve the new cabinet but on whether the PM is within his right to name the current cabinet or whether has broken the constituion(not even close) or the clan power-sharing agreement.

Rejecting the proposed the new cabinet out of hand is not acceptable because the PM has spend a lot of time an effort to get the team he believes can best put his plans into action.

Rejecting the new cabinet out of hand gives the impression that those who are behind the petition are not acting in the interest of the nation.

There are no legal basis for the rejection of the new cabinet.

The truth is that Somali power-sharing is so vague and not Somali only agree in principle but not on its exact definition. To hold up the new government over that is very disingenuous and completely unjustified.
