I think it is rather graceless depict Somali artists like Hibo as having 'One foot ijn the Grave' but I agree with the writer on the substantive point about the attack on our culture including Music and arts by the Salafism. I happen to belive this poses a wosre to threat to out identity as ethnic Somalis than al-Shabab or clan wars, droughts and pestilinces combined. Afterall we have lawys lived with wars and famines and perstilence and came through singing and reciting and dancing. Salafism is killing our culture dead. And race with no culture is a race no more.

Qur'an Chapter 31(Luqmaan) 31:6,
31:6, "And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e.music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Quran) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire)".

Qur'an Chapter 17 (Al-Israa) 17:64 "
17:64, "Draw anyone of them you can into sin by your voice and by your cavalry and infantry, share their property and children with them and make promises to them. Your promises are all lies.

would you please put the Quran picture aside. Kitaabkan aad meelwalba kula ordaysid xumaanta wuu ka nazahanyahay.
Just think for one minute. It is not appropriate to to bring the quaran where there is a bad words and AFLAGAADO.

You have murdered your article with looooooooong sentences. Reading them gave me a mental fatigue. I read you million times better than this killing the English language and with it, your own point about this article!
